EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
. 1975 - 1986: Roche Constructors, Inc., PO Box 1727, Greeley, Co. Employed as General Superintendent and later promoted to Project Manager and eventually Area Manager for general contracting firm. Contracts ranged from $100,000.00 to $19 million. Projects included commercial, light industrial and heavy highway. Responsibilities included contract administration, estimating, business development, and contract negotiations. Established excellent record of completing quality projects on time and under budget.
 
. 1986 - 1990: Alpine CM, Inc. 1111 S. 12th Street, Grand Junction, CO. Owner / CEO General Contracting and Construction Management firm operating in Western Colorado and Eastern Utah. Firm completed average of $3.5-million per year in commercial construction contracts including retail, educational, office and public and governmental buildings.
 
. 1990 - 1993 City Market, Inc. PO Box 729, Grand Junction, CO - Manager of Store Services. Responsible for overall facilities management and construction programs for large retail grocery chain. Responsible for planning, design, construction and maintenance programs for new and existing facilities. Duties included solicitation and administration of contracts for architectural work, engineering, subcontracting and vending for new construction and remodel work. Set up comprehensive safety and EEO programs. Oversaw all site, exterior, and interior design operations. Managed procurement, installation and maintenance of all refrigeration and merchandising equipment. Set up program to respond to Federal requirements for CFC reporting and phase out related to all HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Managed department budget of $1.5 million per year and capital budget of over $25 million per year.
 
. 1993 - 1995: Security Capital Industrial Trust, 14100 East 35th Place, Aurora, CO. National Construction Manager. Direct management activities related to facilities and acquisitions for an industrial Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) with assets in excess of $2-billion. Implemented programs for construction and contract administration including improvement estimates, capital budgeting, job costing, and contract administration. Responsible for management and oversight of capital budgets of approximately $20-million/year including related accounting and budgeting functions. Operations involve industrial sites, developments, and buildings in 20 states.
 
. 1995 - Present : Asset Engineering Limited, P.O Box 4382, Grand Junction, CO - Owner and CEO of company performing as construction manager and consultant. Providing construction manager services on wide range of commercial and industrial projects throughout the United States. Projects include commercial retail, office, institutional, residential, industrial and structural retrofits. Also providing construction-consulting services to clients for due diligence purposes. Consulting projects include industrial, residential, resort, commercial and retail facilities. Have completed due diligence work on over 6-million square feet of building space in the last year. Currently have in excess of $20-million of commercial / residential construction management work in progress. Member of The American Institute of Architects, The Construction Specifications Institute, The National Fire Protection Association, National Federation of Real Estate Appraisers, National Roofing Institute, and Associated
Building Contractors.
